GenieOS · Create links

Small link. More possibilities.

Make the link part of your brand. Destination and slug stay in view while you add a share card, campaign tags, a brand QR or routing — one extra at a time.

A link that belongs to you

Domain
Your connected short domain
Slug
A readable name for your campaign
Tracking
Source, medium and campaign tags

Step 01

Your name, right in the link.

Connect your own short domain and choose a readable slug. The same recognisable link can travel through your emails, social posts, printed material and QR codes, while its destination stays manageable in one place.

Domain setup includes ownership and DNS checks before you use it. You can also start with the shared gogen.ie domain. Add campaign tags when you create the link so your destination analytics can identify the source, medium and campaign.

Step 02

Give every share a better first impression.

Keep the destination’s original preview or create a branded card with your own title, description and image. Upload a photo, choose an existing asset or generate something new, then open the card in the Designer to refine its layers.

The card gives people a preview when a platform expands your link; clicking still takes them to your destination. Social platforms control their own preview caches, so a changed card may take time to appear on a link you have already shared.

Step 03

One link. Different destinations.

Compare two to eight destinations behind one short link. Set each variant’s share of traffic, then review variant clicks in link analytics. Repeat visitors stay with their assigned variant where the browser allows the routing cookie.

Pause the test or conclude it with a chosen destination when you are ready. You decide what the results mean: the split does not automatically choose a winner or measure conversions on every external site. A/B setup availability is shown in your workspace.

More than a redirect

Useful controls around every click.

  • 01

    Branded QR codes

Take your link into print with a styled QR code. Download SVG, PNG or PDF for your artwork.

  • 02

    Click analytics

Review clicks over time, unique visitors, referrers, countries and devices.

  • 03

    Campaign tags

Add UTM parameters so your destination analytics can recognise the campaign.

  • 04

    Destination rules

Route by location, platform or device, with a fallback destination. Use rules as an alternative to an A/B split.

  • 05

    Timing controls

Schedule when a link goes live and set an expiry for time-sensitive campaigns.

  • 06

    Password protection

Ask visitors for a password before sending them to the destination.
